【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsforthecharacterizationofasterilizingagent,andforthedevelopment,validationandroutinecontrolofasterilizationprocessformedicaldevices.2ThisInternationalStandardappliestosterilizationprocessesinwhichmicroorganismsareinactivatedbyphysicaland/orchemicalmeans.3ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplytoprocessesthatrelysolelyonphysicalremovalofmicroorganisms(forexample,filtration).4ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotdescribedetailedtestproceduresforassessingmicrobialinactivation.5ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtobeappliedbyprocessdevelopers,manufacturersofsterilizationequipment,manufacturersofmedicaldevicestobesterilizedandtheorganizationwithresponsibilityforsterilizingthemedicaldevice.6ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotsupersedeormodifypublishedInternationalStandardsforparticularsterilizationprocesses.NOTE1AlthoughthescopeofthisInternationalStandardislimitedtomedicaldevices,theprinciplesdescribedmayalsobeappliedtootherhealthcareproducts.NOTE2SterilizationprocessesvalidatedandcontrolledinaccordancewiththerequirementsofthisInternationalStandardshouldnotbeassumedtobeeffectiveininactivatingthecausativeagentsofspongiformencephalopathiessuchasscrapie,bovinespongiformencephalopathyandCreutzfeld-Jakobdisease.Specificrecommendationshavebeenproducedinparticularcountriesfortheprocessingofmaterialspotentiallycontaminatedwiththeseagents.
