【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeprovidesguidelinesforacousticemission(AE)examinationormonitoringofstructures,suchaspressurevessels,pipingsystems,orotherstructuresthatcanbestressedbymechanicalorthermalmeans.1.2ThebasicfunctionsofanAEmonitoringsystemaretodetect,locate,andclassifyemissionsources.Othermethodsofnondestructivetesting(NDT)maybeusedtofurtherevaluatethesignificanceofacousticemissionsources.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
