【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationisintendedtobeameansofcallingoutfinishedmachinedpartsreadyforaerospaceuse.Suchpartsmayalsofinduseinselectedcommercialapplicationswherethereareclearbenefitsderivedfromtheuseofpartswithknownorcontrolledcrystallinity,highmolecularweight,goodmolecularweightretention,dimensionalstabilityinthefinishedpart,andtightlycontrolledengineeringtolerances.1.2Thisspecificationestablishesrequirementsforpartsmachinedfromvirgin,unplasticized,100%polychlorotrifluoroethylene(PCTFE)homopolymers.1.3ThisspecificationdoesnotcoverpartsmachinedPCTFEcopolymers,PCTFEfilmortapelessthan0.25-mm[0.010-in.]thick,ormodifiedPCTFE(containingpigmentsorplasticizers).1.4Thisspecificationdoesnotallowpartscontainingrecycledmaterial.1.5Thisspecificationclassifiespartsintothreeclassesbaseduponintendedusesandexposures:oxygen-containingmedia,reactivemedia,andinertgases.1.6ApplicationPCTFEcomponentscoveredbythisspecificationarevirgin,100%PCTFEresin,freeofplasticizersandotheradditives.Thecomponentsarecombustionresistantinoxygen,dimensionallystable,andmeetotherspecificphysicalcharacteristicsappropriatefortheirenduse.Theyareusedinvalves,regulators,andotherdevicesinoxygen,air,helium,nitrogen,hydrogen,ammonia,andotheraerospacemediasystems.Thecomponentstypicallyareusedasvalveseats,o-rings,seals,andgaskets.Theyareremovedandreplacedduringnormalmaintenanceprocedures.Thecomponentsprovidereliablesealingsurfacesresultinginproperclosureofvalvesandrelateddevicesandnoleakagefromthesystemintotheenvironment.Theywillexperiencestaticmechanicalloading,cyclicmechanicalloading,temperaturesrangingfromcryogenicto71176;C[160176;F],andpressuresupto46.2MPa[6700psi].1.7ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinbracketsareforinformationonly.1.8Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section12ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoequivalentISOstandard.
