【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthepHofpolymerdispersionsandrubberlatices(naturalandsynthetic)bymeansofapH-meterequippedwithacombinedglassandsilverreferenceelectrode.Themethodisalsosuitableforprevulcanizedlatexandcompoundscontainingpolymerdispersionsorrubberlatices,includingadhesives.NOTE1TheaccuracyofthemethoddecreasesatpHvaluesabove11.UsersshouldnotethatthiseditionofISO976notonlyrepresentsarevisionofthepreviousedition,butalsosupersedesISO1148:1980,Plastics--Aqueousdispersionsofpolymersandcopolymers--Determi-nationofpH.Thiseditionrepresentsaharmonizedversionofthetwostandards.OneofthemajorchangesinthisneweditionofISO976istheuseofacombinedelectroderatherthantheseparateelectrodesusedinthepreviousedition,thecombinedelectrodebeingconsideredsuperiortotheseparateelectrodessincethelatterarepronetolatexdepositsblockingtheelectro-lyteiunction,thusadverselyaffectingrepeatability.Althougholder-typetwinelectrodesarecapableofgivingaccurateresults,theyshouldbeprogressivelyreplacedbecauseofthisproblemofcleaningandrepeatability.
