【摘要】:Theimagelifeofprintedmediadisplayedinbothtypicalofficeandoutdoorenvironmentscanbeextendedbylaminationorencapsulation.Whilenaturalagingisthemostreliablemethodofassessinglaminationadhesion,thelengthofthetimerequiredmakesthismethodimpracticalformostmaterials.Thepeelstrengthmethodallowscomparativestudiesofprintsandlaminatingfilms.Goodadhesionisprimeconsiderationforlaminatingfilmsandprints.Alaminatingfilm,whichdoesnotadheretoaprintorviceversagenerally,hasnocommercialvalue.Thismethodisusedtoobtaincomparativedataofpeelstrengthofencapsulatedorlaminatedmedia.Peelstrengthcanbemeasureduptoapointwherethepeelstrengthisequaltothetensilestrengthoftheadhesiveortheprint.Inmanyapplications,havingsufficientlaminateadhesionstrengthisimportanttogivesatisfactoryperformance.Thepropertyisalsoimportantindeterminingtheuniformityofquality.AroughorraspypeeltestwillproduceahigherRMSvaluethanonethatissmoothandcontinuous.Itcanberelatedtox201C;zippering,x201D;x201C;shocking,x201D;orx201C;stick-slip.x201D;BondStrengthandInterfacialAdhesion8212;Thebondstrengthofalaminateessentiallydependsonboththeadhesiveandthecohesivestrengthofthelaminatingsystem.Peelstrengthofthelaminateistypicallydeterminedbydebondingthelaminateusing180x00B0;peeltest.Fig.2presentsfivepossiblemodesoffailure:(1)debondingoftheinkreceptiveunderlayerfromthesubstrate(2)debondingoftheinkreceptivetoplayerfromtheunderlayer,(3)debondingoftheadhesivefromthetopinkreceptivesurface,(4)debondingtheadhesivefromthelaminatingfilm,(5)thesubstrateorfilmfailuretear.Thefailureofthelaminatewilloccuratitsweakestlink.Itisgenerallydesirabletohavehighbondstrengthtotherecordingelementwithfailureoccurringwheretheadhesivedebondsfromtheinkreceptive.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforprintingadocument,applyingalaminatingfilmandsubsequentlydelaminating.Thelaminatefilmisusedforencapsulatingandmountingprintstopreservetheminofficeandoutdoorenvironments.1.2Thispracticedescribesproceduresfordeterminingtheadhesionstrengthoflaminationfilmwhenitisappliedtoblackandwhiteandcolorprintsproducedbyprinters,copiersandotherreprographicdevices.1.3Thispracticecanbeusedtotestdifferentlaminateswithagivensetofinksandmediaoritcanbeusedtoevaluateinksandmediawithagivenlaminate.1.4Thispracticespecifiessizeofspecimensanddefinesconditionsformeasurementofpeeladhesionata180x00B0;angleanddelaminationspeed.1.5Thispracticeisapplicabletoconstructionswherethesubstratesurfaceissubjecttofailureunderpeelconditions.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminethe......
